Run Yank Run 45: Race Day

Time once again for another istallment of Run Yank Run. Running been hit or miss due to work and life, but I was able to run the 2011 British 10K today and it was a lot of fun. Despite not receiving a pack pack, Tube closure, and general life wear and tear, I made it to start line and ran a good race. My goal was to finish in under an hour and whilst the offical chip timing isnt in yet, my Nike+ places me at just over 52 minutes. Happy with that.

Here's some pictures of the race and from ones I snapped:

  1. Hi Paul, greetings from the Isle of Tiree, a tiny island off the north west coast of Scotland. I discovered your show through Channel Runner and I've now subscribed. Really enjoyed the 10k London episode - the latest, I expect. Thanks for doing the podcast.

  2. Hi Gordon, thanks for writing and thanks for listening! I mentioned you during the latest episode but I said you lived on a small island off the coast of England - sorry, silly mistake.
